The Natrona County Sheriff's Office is looking into what caused injuries to the skulls of two horses.

A Sheriff's Office spokesperson says at around 3pm Wednesday, February 11th, near the 8600 block of Arapahoe Road, the horse owner went to check on his horses, when he noticed one horse had an injury to its eye and the other had swelling on its face.

The owner took the horses to the vet and it was discovered that the eye was too damaged to be saved, while the other horse had 3 skull fractures.

Both horses are being treated.

Anyone with any information on what may have caused the injures, is asked to contact the Natrona County Sheriff's Office.
