Traffic Stop In Laramie County Nets 15 lbs Of Pot

Authorities say two Chicago residents have been arrested after a search of their vehicle turned up about 15 pounds of high-grade marijuana.

KGWN-TV in Cheyenne reports 44-year-old Hida Ajredini and 41-year-old Barbara Anne Sutherland were arrested in Laramie County on Sunday afternoon and were jailed on a charge of possession of marijuana.

A Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper stopped the car for speeding and said the driver and passenger appeared to be nervous, and that the car had a strong odor of air fresheners. Authorities say a search of the vehicle turned up 17 plastic bags of marijuana.
