Three Kelly Walsh Football Players Sign College Letters of Intent
A trio of Kelly Walsh football players will be going to the college level next season, so an new opportunity awaits. Conner Shopp will be a preferred walk on at the University of Wyoming. He was an all state pick in 4A as an offensive lineman and is averaging a half a dozen points per game for the Trojan basketball team. Shopp drew interest from a number of schools, including Idaho State and Chadron State. Running back Brock Spiegelberg will be attending Montana State. He rushed for 1571 yards and 16 touchdowns this past season. Spiegelberg posted 4 of the top 5 rushing performances in 4A last season including a 332 yard effort against Gillette. Offensive lineman Kameron Mellon has signed on with Chadron State in Nebraska, continuing a long line of Wyoming prep athletes to attend that school. Mellon was a 2nd team 4A all state selection on the O-line.
