Ten Casper Businesses Fail Alcohol Compliance Checks

Casper police have been checking a number of business that sell alcohol to make sure they're not selling to minors.

During the course of December and January, Casper police conducted alcohol compliance checks at 62 city businesses.

About four different undercover agents, between the age of 18 and 20 visited the establishments, and ordered an alcohol beverage.

Of the the 62 businesses, ten had employees fail the compliance check, because they did not check for I.D. and went ahead and served the alcoholic beverage.

The employees that passed the check were given a ten-dollar gift card to a Casper-area business.

The money came from a grant from the Wyoming Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police.
