Suspicious Deaths in Fremont County

RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the deaths of three people in Fremont County as homicides.

A 41-year-old woman and a 5-year-old boy, whose names have not been released, were found dead in a Lander home after police were called to check on their welfare Saturday night. Police Chief Robert Cecrle says the deaths were not natural, but there is no threat to the community.

No other information was released.

Meanwhile, investigators in Riverton say the death of a 44-year-old woman is suspicious. Police Capt. Murphy says the woman, whose name has not been released, died Monday night. Investigators have not said how she died or why they consider her death suspicious.
