Snowfall is in the forecast for Sunday, according to a Special Weather Statement by the National Weather service. A cold front and low pressure center is expected to result in snow developing across Natrona County this morning. The Weather Service says we'll see the most widespread snowfall begin in the western part  of the county and spread east across the rest of the county, with less intensity, during the day.

The heaviest snowbands with the most snow accumulations should be in the far western part of the county, including Highland, with a possibility of three to four inches. Extreme far Northeast Natrona County may see up to four inches, closer to where the low pressure center will strengthen.

Near Casper, snowfall is expected to increase by early this evening on Casper Mountain once the temperature drops, with two to four inches of snow expected. We'll likely see an inch or less in the lower elevations, including the city of Casper.
