Recipients of Scholarship created in memory of five fallen Casper Soldiers will be announced this Friday. This Friday is Veterans day and in observation of that day nine scholarships will be awarded.

"Casper College is remembering and honoring all those who have served and continue to serve our country. We'll have the Wyoming Veterans Memorial Museum here sharing a history of the Medal of Honor. And we'll also recognize the recipients of scholarships that have been created in memory of those Wyoming service members who've lost their lives."

The scholarships go out in memory of Jason Corbett, Scott Alan Miller, and through the Wyoming Fallen Heroes Scholarships, in memory of Brendon Reiss, Corey Hicks, and Robert Lucero.

The history of the Medal of Honor will be presented by John Goss, director of the Wyoming Veterans’ Memorial Museum.
