A Casper man will be spending some time behind bars for robbing a convenience store at knife-point.

Twenty-seven year old Phillip Jones was sentenced to eight-to-10 years in prison, after he pleaded guilty to one charge of aggravated robbery.

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in April 2014, Jones used a knife to rob the Loaf 'N Jug store on North Center Street, and ended up getting $61.

He then tried to flee in a cab, but was caught a short time later.

One month prior to the robbery, Jones had been released from an Arizona prison.
