The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding whoever stole over $7,000 worth of tools and equipment from High West Energy.

Lt. Don Hollingshead says the theft occurred in the area of County Road 209 and County Road 138 during the overnight hours of Jan. 4.

"They took numerous items that belonged to the linemen that were working on that project for the electrical company as well as tools and equipment from the electrical company itself," said Hollingshead.

"They had left their equipment out there and what they had it sitting in got broken into," Hollingshead added.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
