You have heard a lot about the Iowa Caucuses, the gatherings in Florida and now it is time for Wyoming, and more specifically Natrona County, to get together and define the direction of the Republican Party.

According to Merriam-Webster a caucus is;

a closed meeting of a group of persons belonging to the same political party or faction usually to select candidates or to decide on policy; also : a group of people united to promote an agreed-upon cause.

Natrona County Republican Chairman Miles Dahlby joined us to talk about the process.

The Natrona County Republican Party is using this occasion for the modification and submission of planks for the platforms and resolutions of the party on the county level. They will also be conducting a straw poll to give a preview of the county's support for a presidential nominee.

even though it is non-binding, what is important about it, is that it gives momentum to the campaigns.

The precinct caucuses are open to registered Natrona County Republicans and gets started Thursday evening at 6:30 at the Ag Resource Learning Center. For more information Click Here.
