You may want to cover up your garden tonight if you want to keep it growing for a bit longer. The meteorologists at the National Weather Service in Riverton have issued a Special Weather Statement calling for the possibility of freezing temperatures for the lower elevations of Natrona County, including the city of Casper.

The Weather Service says clouds are expected to start thinning and decreasing tonight, increasing the risk of freezing temperatures in low lying areas. Most of those areas will likely be near or slightly below freezing, with slightly warmer temperatures elsewhere.

They advise that if you have any sensitive vegetation outside, you might want to go ahead and cover it up. Similar to slightly warmer low temperatures are expected for Tuesday night as well.
