Casper Man Sentenced For Sexual Acts With Young Girls

A man who was involved in sex acts with 2 minors has been sentenced.

Billy Joe Wood will spend up to one-hundred and ten years at the Wyoming State Penetentiary, on 2 charges of first degree sexual assault, and possession of child pornography.

According to the police affidavit, Wood visited the home of a 6-year old girl and a 4-year old girl, several times when their mother was not present.

The children later told Casper Police that he engaged in various sexual acts with them.

Wood admitted to police about the incidents and admitted to downloading more than 50 child pornography videos.

A judge sentenced him to 45-to-50 years on each sexual assault charge, and 8-to-10 years for the child pornography.

All 3 sentences will be served consecutively.
