CODY, Wyo. (AP) — A Cody man has been charged with first-degree murder in his wife's death.

The Park County attorney's office filed the charge against 28-year-old Myron Friday on Thursday as Friday made his first court appearance.

Thirty-four-year-old Julie Friday was found dead at her home Sunday night by one of her teenage children. Her husband was arrested after a day-long search that included a plane.

Judge Bruce Waters set his bail at $1 million.

Friday was released from jail on Feb. 18 after serving a month's sentence for violating probation on a 2011 conviction for interfering with police and criminal trespassing.
