Library Board Meets With Consultant About Library’s Future

The Natrona County Library Board of Trustees will host a public meeting with a consultant about the needs of the county-owned facility in the boardroom of the library, 307 E. Second St., at noon Wednesday.
The Natrona County Library Foundation contracted with consultant Anders Dahlgren of Library Planning Associates, Inc., for an assessment about the direction of the library and how it is meeting the needs of the community.

Dahlgren is a consultant with 32 years of experience in library education, library consulting and library administration. He has worked on more than 175 projects in 26 states and abroad.

The process and results of the assessment will be shared with the library joint committee, which is composed of members of the Natrona County Commission, the Casper City Council, and the Natrona County School District board of trustees.
