Rebecca Baxtel, 3rd Party Candidate For Governor

Can a third-party candidate win Governor of Wyoming? It's never been done, but Rebecca Baxtel is determined to make it so. She does not want to see Eric Barlow win the seat. In her mind, Mr. Barlow, a registered Republican, is really a Democrat.

Since the Wyoming primary is over and the Republicans have chosen Eric Barlow, Rebecca has joined with the Constitution Party of Wyoming to run for Governor. They asked her to run under their banner. Constitution Party stands for a strict originalist interpretation of the U.S. Constitution and a governance model grounded in biblical and traditional conservative values.

Rebecca joined Glenn Woods on Wyoming's morning radio talk show to explain why she chose to run and what she would do as governor. You can hear the interview in the audio file below.

You've heard of  Rebecca when she challenged wasteful spending, filed public-records requests, demanded accountability from government officials, and fought to protect Western Heritage.

She went on to serve as a Republican precinct committeewoman, state committeewoman, and alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention in 2020 and 2024.

Rebecca says that she is running for Governor to defend limited government, responsible spending, energy independence, the Second Amendment, property rights, the sanctity of life, parental rights, and our Western way of life. She will oppose federal overreach, protect Wyoming's natural-resource industries, and fight unnecessary government interference in the lives of families and small businesses.
