The holiday season has arrived in Casper.

More than 70,000 lights were turned on at Conwell Park across the street from the Wyoming Medical Center.

Several dozen trees were decorated, in what is now known as Holiday Square, which is now in its 18th season.

The WMC usually holds the event to get everyone in a festive mood before the Thanksgiving Holiday, bring the community together, and to give patients staying over night at the hospital, something to look at each night.

The lights will remain on each night from dusk until dawn, up until the New Years Holiday.
