The joy felt by everyone who attended the Holiday Square Tree Lighting event at Conwell Park was contagious, and it reminded us that maybe, just maybe, this season...we can be each others' light.
Dozens gathered at Conwell Park in Casper on Saturday to stand up for women's rights, reproductive rights, and bodily autonomy in light of the recent discussions of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.
Grieving is important, which is why Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions is hosting a community-wide grief and remembrance event on Wednesday, May 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Conwell Park.
'I think it means a lot just to know that someone notices you, that someone cares,' Bruner stated. 'Sometimes what happens is that people feel invisible and that no one knows or cares what they're going through. But even though we can't go in [to Wyoming Medical Center], we see them, we care about them, we love them...we're with you and you're not there by yourself.'
