It's a new world for the Glenrock Herders as they embark on the 2019 season with a road game at Torrington on Friday night. First of all, they have a new coach in Ryan Collier who was promoted to replace longtime coach Ray Kumpula. Then the Herders have to replace an all-star talent like Tucker Bopp and Ian Arnold. So Glenrock doesn't return a whole lot of experienced, varsity players which means it may be live and learn for a while. With all those changes, the offense will remain the same which means run for dough and throw for show. The Herders ground attack has been prolific in the last few years and the program wants that repeated. The defense will have to be stout for the Herders to really succeed. We'll see what happens as the campaign continues.
