Gillette Vs. Kelly Walsh Football [VIDEO]

Kelly Walsh was in search of a victory in the last week of the regular season to secure a spot in the 4A playoffs. Their opponent was the Gillette Camel and Gillette was looking at a playoff spot as well. The Trojans scored a touchdown in each quarter of play, starting with a 65-yard touchdown connection from Trenton Walker to Cameron Burkett to give KW a 7-0 lead

In the 2^nd quarter, it was Burkett again, this time plowing into the end zone from 6 yards out to increase the Kelly Walsh lead to 14-0.  In quarter #3, Emory Yoosook got into the touchdown action with a 27-yard gallop to the end zone so. The Trojans leading by 21 entering the 4^th quarter of play. Just for good measure, KW added another touchdown as Walker found Jevon Davis for 14 yards and a score.

Kelly Walsh knocks off Gillette 28-0 and both teams finish the regular season at 2-7. The Trojans grabbed the 7^th seed in 4A and that sends them to Sheridan for the first round of the playoffs. Gillette ended up as the 8^th seed and they will meet their cross-town rival, undefeated Thunder Basin on Friday night.
