Former Corrections Agent Pleads Guilty To Several Charges
A former corrections agent admits to being on the wrong side of the law.
Ruby Maddox has pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance and four counts of petty larceny.
According to the Natrona County Sheriff's Office, earlier this year, Maddox was working as a probation agent for the Wyoming Department of Corrections, and at various times took pills from clients and in one instance, a puppy while visiting them.
An investigation also revealed she took money meant for a dunk tank, that was used at a Recovery Rally.
Maddox is free on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond and will be sentenced at a later date.
