A Sheridan man has denied in court that he robbed a Casper pharmacy.

Twenty-eight year old Derrick Wood has pleaded not guilty to one charge of aggravated robbery.

Casper Police say in November, Wood approached the pharmacy at the Albertson's Grocery store on East Second Street, and asked for some prescription drugs.

Employees told investigators that they saw what they believed to be a gun, and gave him the prescription.

They suspected it was Wood, because he had frequented the pharmacy for other prescriptions.

Wood was spotted in the grocery store one week later and when questioned by police, he admitted to the incident, and said he used an airsoft handgun at the time.

He is being held on $20,000 bond awaiting trial, and could face between 5-to-25 years in prison if convicted.
