UPDATE (3:30 p.m.)
Jeff Goetz, WYDOT spokesperson, provided these additional details regarding the crash:

Wyoming Highway 220 was closed west of Independence Rock on Thursday after a WYDOT snowplow overturned and another crash resulted.
Jeff Goetz, a spokesperson for WYDOT, said in a statement that the plow overturned at roughly 1 p.m. and ended up on its side in the middle of the highway. Afterward, one semi truck rear-ended another which was trying to stop for the crash.
The highway was closed in both directions between Alcova and Muddy Gap with no estimated reopening time as of 2:15 p.m.
Goetz said there were indications that some diesel fuel spilled as a result of the commercial trucks colliding, and a hazardous materials crew has been dispatched.
Goetz did not have information as to whether anyone was injured or any other vehicles were involved.
