A Casper woman has been charged with involuntary manslaughter of a 5-year-old.

Goetz did not have information as to whether anyone was injured or any other vehicles were involved.

The trial is estimated to last five days.

The infant had a pulse when a Carbon County nurse stopped at the scene and rendered aid, but the child's pulse was lost within a few minutes.

She continued CPR until Life Flight arrived, but the child did not survive.

According to a crash report from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, one vehicle blew a tire and crossed the centerline, hitting another vehicle in a t-bone style crash.

Officials warn not to drive in closed lanes, and obey reduced speed limits.

James Stolt had an autopsy, but Natrona County Coroner Connie Jacobson said she won't get those results for another few weeks so she can determine a manner and a cause of death.
