Casper Police See Possible Connections Between Two Robberies This Weekend
The robbery of a restaurant on Saturday and the robbery of a nearby gas station on Sunday possibly are related, a Casper Police Department spokesman said Tuesday.
Sgt. Mike Ogden didn't go into details, but police are looking at a possible connection, he said.
The first robbery was reported at Wyoming Hot Wings, 1821 E. 12th St, about 7:45 p.m. Saturday.
The second was reported at the Big D Sinclair gas station, 1232 E. 12th St., about 9:08 p.m. Sunday.
In the second robbery, the suspect brandished a gun and left the station with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the police.
He was described as a black male, 5 feet, 10 inches, with an average build.
No injuries were reported during either robbery.
