Casper College Men Advance in Region IX Tournament

The Casper College Thunderbirds improved to 23-8 on the year as they blitzed Western Wyoming on Saturday night 84-49  in the opening round of the Region IX tournament at the Erickson Gym. The Birds were a remarkable 13-27 from 3 point land and led by a whopping 30 points at halftime  and were led in scoring by Deonte Strickland who had 23. Josh McSwiggan threw in 15 and Don Jarrett Jr had 12. Casper College will move to the quarterfinal round of the Region IX tournament in Gillette and will take on Western Nebraska on Thursday at 5pm
