CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Another spring snowstorm is marching through parts of Wyoming.

Winter storm warnings have been posted for northwest Wyoming, including Yellowstone National Park and the mountains surrounding Jackson, and for the extreme northeast corner of the state.

A winter weather advisory is in effect across the northern tier of the state, including Gillette, Cody, Sheridan, Jackson, Buffalo and Afton as well as the Wind River mountains.

Snow was falling Thursday morning in Yellowstone and other areas of northwest Wyoming. It was expected to spread across much of the state by Friday.

More than a foot of snow is possible in some mountain ranges.
