Wyoming High School Football Practice Starts [PHOTOS]
The calendar may not say it's fall just yet, but the boys of fall are already here.
High school football practice got started at 12:01 AM at Natrona County High School.
Players went through non-contact fundamental drills, minus the pads for about twenty minutes during the midnight hour.
NCHS football coach Steve Harshman says it's a tradition that's only been around for a few years.
"Our kids back in 2010 suggested it. I think Cole Montgomery was kind of the guy that said, 'Hey, we want to be the first on and make some memories,' and so it's not been a thing we've done mandatory, we just kind of asked the seniors each year, 'Well do you want to do it? Oh absolutely.' So as long as they want to keep doing it we'll do it."
Football practice has also started at the University of Wyoming.
