Wyoming Author C.J. Box Book Tour Includes Casper Stop
Wyoming author C. J. Box, will launch a tour next week in support of his latest novel, "Endangered".
The tour will include a stop in Casper on March 31, 2015 7pm at the Natrona County High School. "Endangered" is the 15th installment in the best-selling mystery series, which centers around Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett.
The latest novel begins with the disappearance of Pickett's 18 year old daughter April. He learns she's run off with a rodeo champ named Dallas Cates, and is later horrified when she's discovered barely alive in a ditch along the highway. Cates denies any involvement and there's reason to suspect another man. Pickett, however, knows the champ is somehow involved and sets out to find the truth.
Box began writing Pickett novels with 2001's "Open Season." The Wyoming native has worked as a ranch hand, fishing guide and newspaper reporter and editor, and owned a tourism firm with his wife. He lives outside of Cheyenne.
