Stuff the Van starts Monday. Its a local toy drive in its 14th year.

The van-a Townsquare Media van- sits awaiting toy donations at one of the two Walmarts...west side to start. The van fills, then goes to Food Bank of the Rockies where the toys are sorted and prepped for giving.

Volunteers keep it going and there's a call out for help with that sorting process.

"We do need quite a few volunteers, because its twelve hours a day. We need volunteers to be at the site where we gather the toys and then we also need volunteers at our ware house to sort toys by age and sex."

Jamie Purcell, development manager at Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies says volunteer opportunities are available everyday next week. Either at the pick points or at the Food Bank where the sorting takes place. And if you don't know what stuff the van is...

"'Stuff the Van', is where we partner with Townsquare Media and Murphy Sheds to fill vans up with toys in order to distribute them to kids in Casper who otherwise may not have a Christmas. We do that by partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Central Wyoming, the Child Development Center of Natrona County, and the Salvation Army. They're the people who distribute the toys. Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies just sorts them and gets them out to those agencies."

If your interested in volunteering to help make Stuff the Van a success call Renea at the Foodbank 265 2172 to schedule a time.
