A pair of prep football players from Casper will accept preferred walk on status on the Wyoming Cowboy football team for 2019. Natrona's Jordan Bertagnole will one preferred walk on which means will have a roster spot when fall camp starts in August. Bertagnole was a 4A all state selection at 2 positions; defensive end and wide receiver. He had 39 tackles, 15 for loss plus he caught 38 passes and 12 of those went for touchdowns. He's 6-4 and 220 pounds so athleticism is there. Bertagnole also had an offer from Montana State. Kelly Walsh's Conner Shopp will also be headed to UW as a preferred walk on. Shopp is 6-6 and 25 pounds with extended playing time on the offensive and defensive lines. He was an 4A all state selection on the offensive line and made 21 tackles on defense. He also received an offer from Idaho State, Chadron State, Black Hills State and Augustana
