Jhett Johnson of Casper was possibly the unlikeliest bet to win a world championship at this week’s $6 million Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
After picking up his PRCA card almost 20 years ago, it was always a goal of team roper Jhett Johnson to win his way into the National Finals Rodeo. He has done that 5 times and has finished as high as 4th in the world standings. With increased family commitments and the pressures of running a ranch with his father and brother, this could be his last.
