The Casper City Council was again visited by Casper-Natrona County Health Department director Anna Kinder to discuss whether or not to increase their funding for fiscal year 2022 and decided against increasing their funding.

Monday marked a turning point in the COVID-19 pandemic for Casper-area residents.

Just about anyone can get a COVID-19 vaccine in Natrona County as local health officials continue rolling it out.

The Casper-Natrona County Health Department has once again expanded its waitlist for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Individuals currently eligible for the COVID-19 must schedule an appointment to receive the vaccination.

Natrona County Health officials are urging the public's patience as COVID-19 vaccines continue to trickle into the community.

The statement revealed that there are limited supplies nationwide and across Wyoming, including COVID-19 vaccines, which is why the CNCHD is following the State Health Department's guidelines when it comes to vaccination timelines, eligibility, and more.

Vaccines will be available at the following locations only for those 70 years and older:

According to a Wednesday news release, Natrona County Health Officers Dr. Mark Dowell and Dr. Ghazi Ghanem issued the health order recently in conjunction with Wyoming State Health Officer Dr. Alexia Harrist.

But other county health officers in Wyoming have signed off on mask orders.
