Republican Rep. Kendell Kroeker announced he will seek his party's nomination to run for a fourth term to represent House District 35 in Evansville and east Casper, he said in a news release.

“I am honored that the people of my district have chosen me to represent them in Cheyenne the past six years and I hope that if they choose to send me back for another term that I will serve in a way that is worthy of their support," he said in the news release.
Kroeker said he has consistently been one of the most conservative members of the Wyoming Legislature. He has introduced bills to strengthen gun rights, and recently was a leader on the bill to reform Wyoming’s civil asset forfeiture laws.
“I was very happy that we were able to reform Wyoming’s civil asset forfeiture laws," he said in the news release.

"An individual is now guaranteed a date in court and the burden of proof was shifted to the state before an individual can have his property forfeited. This is a big step in protecting individual rights and I was proud to be a leader in the fight to reform our civil asset forfeiture laws."

Kroeker was first elected in 2010 and was reelected in 2012 and 2014.
