RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — The spring snowstorm over the last week has increased Wyoming's snowpack.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service on Monday reported that the state's snowpack increased from 117 percent of median last week to 137 percent of median.

The Wind River Basin is now at a whopping 237 percent of median, the highest in the state.

The Sweetwater Basin increased to 212 percent.

The Snake, Yellowstone, Green, Bighorn, Shoshone, Powder and Upper Bear river basins are all 150 percent or more.

The big snowpack has raised worries about potential spring flooding when the annual mountain snowmelt begins.
