The Platte River Parkway through Casper continues to grow in popularity and in amenities. Next Monday the Parkway Trust Board holds its annual meeting and open house and the public is encouraged to attend. The setting gives folks a chance to meet with parkway board members, mingle, enjoy a bite to eat from Gigis and hear about parkway projects completed, and those on the drawing board.

"We're just starting the preliminary design for the Morad Park bypass. This project involves the construction of the trail that will travel away from the main trail, kind of at the base of the embankment."

Parkway Trust Executive Director Angela Emery says the Morad project is designed to relieve trail congestion through the dog park.

The open house and meeting takes place next Monday, February 13th at the Tate Pumphouse Trail Center, 1775 West 1st, from 4:30 to 6:30.
