DENVER (AP) — A plane bound from Denver International Airport to San Francisco has been evacuated after federal officials were notified of a bomb threat to a United Airlines plane.

Carrie Harmon of the Transportation Security Administration says someone phoned in a bomb threat at about 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. She says passengers, cargo and baggage were removed for re-screening.

The TSA says after the plane was evacuated, it was removed to a remote location at the airport where it is being searched.

The TSA says the passengers are boarding another plane for the flight to San Francisco.
