Oilers Win 3 of 4 at Lansing Field

The Casper Oilers American Legion baseball team went 3-1 over the weekend at Lansing Field to improve to 30-13 on the year. On Saturday, the Oilers lost to Windsor, Colorado 9-2 as they surrendered 9 runs in the 6th inning. Casper rebounded with a 5-1 win over the Billings Royals as Lane Fanto went 3-3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. On Sunday. Casper beat Billings again, this time 7-4 as Corbin Kirk went 4-4 with 2 RBI's and Brooks Browning went 2-4 with 2 runs scored. The Oilers wrapped up the weekend with a 6-2 win over Windsor as pitcher Daniel Roberts threw 7 innings and have up 2 runs and 5 hits. Lane Fanto had a couple of hits and a couple of RBI's. Casper will be in the Cheyenne Firecracker tournament starting on Thursday.
