Oilers Take 3 of 4 in Erie Tournament

It was a good weekend for the Casper Oilers American Legion baseball team as they picked up 3 wins in the Eric, Colorado tournament, On Friday, the Oilers defeated the Lightning Blue squad from Colorado 6-1 thanks to a 4 run 4th inning. Harrison Taubert went 2-4 with 4 RBI's in that contest. Then on Saturday, Casper posted a 7-6 win over the Northern Colorado Roughnecks as Corbin Kirk went 2-4 and drove in 4 runs, Lane Fanto had a big day, going 3-4. The Oilers also posted an 8-0 win over Montezuma-Palmer as Kirk drove in 4 runs again and Taubert struck out 9 on the mound in 5 innings of work.
