Oilers Sweep Douglas to Improve to 8-0

The Casper Oilers American Legion baseball team continued their winning ways with a doubleheader sweep of Douglas on Saturday. In the opener, the Oilers drilled Douglas 16-0 thanks to 3 runs in each of the first 4 innings. Brooks Browning went 2-3 with 4 RBI's. Corbin Kirk and Carter Young homered in that contest. In the nightcap, Casper prevailed 11-5 as they pounded out 15 hits. Kirk homered yet again with Lane Fanto and Chad Bila also going yard. The Oilers are 8-0 and will be in Laramie on Thursday.
