The Casper Oilers American Legion baseball team won all 4 of their games at the Paul Eastridge tournament over the weekend at Lansing Field. The Oilers opened up with a snappy 2-1 win over Gillette and won the game with just a half a dozen hits. Garrett Clausen went 2-3 with 2 RBI's. Pitcher Will Clair threw 6 innings and struck out 6. The Oilers also beat Evanston 11-8 thanks to 7 runs in the first inning. Harrison Taubert went 2-3 with 2 runs batted in and Dylan Johnson had 2 hits and 2 RBI's. On Sunday, Casper posted a quality 10-3 win over defending state champion Cheyenne 10-3. The Oilers scored in twice in the 1st, twice in the 2nd, 3 in the 3rd and 3 more in the 4th. Harrison Taubert went 2-2 for 3RBI's and Brooks Browning drove in 3 runs. Casper wrapped up the tournament with a big 17-2 win over Laramie as Browning went 3-4 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI"s/ Lane Fanto had 3 hits and 2 RBI's. Garrett Classen had a couple of hits and a couple of runs batted in. The Oilers are 6-0 on the year and will host Douglas in a doubleheader on Saturday.
