Casper Natrona was looking to make it 2 or 2 to start the 2019 season. Gillette was looking for their first win of the year but the Camels had their hands full with the Mustangs right off the bat. NC scored early and often in the 1st quarter as Dante Wallace got in from 21 yards out to make it 7-0. Right after that, Harrison Taubert found Cooper Quig for 25 yards and another touchdown to increase the lead to 14. Taubert wasn’t done as he scampered 19 yards to the end zone to increase the Natrona lead to 20. Still, in the first quarter, Taubert hooked up with Chase Wishart for another TD to end a very productive first quarter.

Taubert threw his 3rd touchdown pass of the game in the 2nd quarter, this one going to Avery Cox for 2 yards so the Natrona lead at this point was 34. Gillette finally got on the board thanks to Vijay Pitter  with a 5 yard run for a score, followed by a TD connection from Kaden Race to Xander Beeson,

In the 3rd quarter, NC found the end zone twice as Taubert threw to Mylian Allison for 6 and Wallace scored his 2nd touchdown of the game. The Camels did score twice in the 4th quarter as Pitter ran one in for a touchdown and caught a TD pass. The final in this one, Natrona 47 and Gillette 28. The Mustangs will be in Sheridan this week. The Camels will host Laramie on Friday
