CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Strong winds are expected to continue in parts of Wyoming.
Wind gusts of up to 70 mph are forecast Monday in southeastern Wyoming and that could cause light or high profile vehicles to blow over.
Strong winds are also expected across the Lander foothills, the Upper Wind River Basin and the Green Mountains and Rattlesnake Range. Winds in those areas could gust to around 50 mph.
Wind and snow over the weekend led highway officials to close highways between and Encampment and Baggs and Centennial and Saratoga for the winter.
The highest accumulation reported by the National Weather Service was near Thayne, where 18.5 inches fell.
