Lemonade Day Preps In The Home Stretch
From putting the finishing touches on the stands to perfecting the secret recipes, preparations for the big Lemonade Day in Casper June 23rd are in the home stretch. One last piece of the puzzle...you can put your stand on the map so folks in search of refreshment can find you.
All you have to do is follow the Brand Your Stand link, and you can tell us where you are, what special drinks and treats you'll have on the big day, and what you're planning on doing with the money you'll make from your big Lemonade Day adventure. There's still time to get in on the fun, just pick up your registration kit at any Hilltop National Bank location.
Lemonade Day is a FREE community event, focused on teaching kids how to start and run their own business. Kids are lead through a 14-step process that includes budgeting, marketing, construction, research, developing a recipe, and tabulating business results. Then on June 23rd, kids all over Casper will be open for business as they set up their stands all over town. Kids keep 100% of the money they make.
In the past 4 years, more than 3,500 kids have registered for Lemonade Day in Casper. Amy Crawford, Casper’s Lemonade Day City Director, says Lemonade Day is for everyone, “This is an event where all of Casper can participate - as an entrepreneur, an investor, a mentor, and a customer! The lessons taught through this program can help develop an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age. We are constantly impressed by the kids’ creativity as they come up with new and fresh ideas each year.”
Lemonade Day will be held on June 23rd, 2018. For more information, you can check out their Facebook page or email amy.crawford@townsquaremedia.com. Lemonade Day is presented by Hilltop National Bank, and is produced with a partnership between Townsquare Media and the Boys & Girls Club of Central Wyoming.
