CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Another late spring snowstorm is causing problems for motorists traveling in Wyoming.

A 150-mile stretch of Interstate 80 from Cheyenne to Rawlins was closed Tuesday morning, and eastbound I-80 from Rock Springs to Rawlins was also closed.

Many other highways and roads in eastern and southern Wyoming were slick and hazardous.

Winter storm warnings remained in effect Tuesday morning for an area of southeast Wyoming, including Cheyenne and Laramie, where up to eight inches of snow fell.

The National Weather Service said more snow was expected later Tuesday.
