Larry Burgess Pleads Not Guilty To Aggravated Assault and Battery Charges
A Casper man is denying that he assaulted two people.
Twenty-six year old Larry Burgess has pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated assault and battery, one count of aggravated burglary and one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and battery.
Investigators say in September, the two victims were at a residence on the 1200 block on North Center Street, when burgess and 3 others arrived and attacked them
All of the attackers had knives on them, and Burgess said he was looking for another person, that was at the residence earlier.
Afterwards, Burgess and the assailants took an $1,800 collection of knives.
One victim told investigators that Burgess appeared to be high on meth at the time of the assault.
Burgess is being held on $100,000 bond awaiting trial, and could face between five-to-25 years in prison on the aggravated burglary charge, and up to 10 years each on the other three charges, if convicted.
