The first cross town battle in prep volleyball was owned by Kelly Walsh as they defeated Natrona 3 games to none. The final 25-12, 25-13 and 25-18. KW received 13 kills from Corin Carruth and this is a program that won the 4A state championship a year ago. The Trojans will have to replace a 4 time all state player in Madison Vinich but KW is off to a 10-2 start this season. Natrona has a young, developing team led by Utah State signee Grace Dubay who missed a vast majority of last season with a knee injury. The Fillies did qualify for last year's state tournament and went 0-2. KW will take on Evanston on Friday, September the 14th. NC will be on the road in Gillette on the 14th.
