Keep Casper Beautiful says it’s offering free assistance to some Casper residents that are still feeling the effects of the record snow storm that hammered central Wyoming last month.

“What we’d like to do is just extend a helping hand to people who are elderly or disabled who may still have branches in their yards,” Keep Casper Beautiful coordinator Beth Andress said. “What Keep Casper Beautiful is doing is trying to ... get people matched up (with volunteers) so we can be done with this storm.”

Andress says Casper homeowners in need of assistance should contact Keep Casper Beautiful at (307) 235-8283 as soon as they can.

Last month's winter storm dumped over a foot of snow on portions of Casper. The storm also downed thousands of trees throughout the city.

City officials are also offering free wood chips to Casper residents.
