The Kaycee boys basketball team ran into a buzzsaw in the Cokeville Panthers in the first round of the 1A State Tournament in Casper as the Bucs absorbed a 60-39 defeat. Kaycee trailed 20-5 after one quarter of play and never recovered. The Bucaroos shot just 16% from the floor in the first half and 29% for the game. Hunter Rouse had 16 for Kaycee with Dion Ealy chipping in 10. Cokeville was red hot from the field practically the entire game, shooting 56% from the floor. Andrew Thomas was a tough customer for the Panthers with 19 with Kyle Wayment contributing 16. Kaycee goes to the consolation bracket to meet Lingle at 1:30 on Friday at Casper College
