CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — One of two escaped Wyoming inmates has been caught in Texas. The Wyoming Department of Corrections says inmate Jason Green was apprehended Sunday in Mesquite, Texas. It says inmate Robert Simpson remains at large and is potentially still in the Mesquite and greater Dallas and Fort Worth area.

RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — Officials say the Riverton Police Department officer who fatally shot a 58-year-old man who attacked the officer with a knife has been placed on paid leave while the incident is investigated. Anderson Antelope, of Riverton, died in the confrontation on Sept. 21 outside the Walmart store in Riverton.
