Wyoming has recorded its second known death due to the coronavirus.

Authorities say a Casper woman arrested Tuesday for driving drunk told deputies she had coronavirus and later spat in a police officer's face.

The Wyoming Department of Health reported Wednesday afternoon that the number of laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide rose to 288 up from 282 on Tuesday.
